marketing its products to pet specialists including groomers, veterinarians, and
pet owners nationwide. Today, we have the two largest retail pet stores in
Virginia and are recognized as a national pet supply distribution corporation.
When Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply started, we printed 2,000 catalogs. Now, almost
two decades later, 10 million catalogs are distributed annually, we have
multiple super-center retail locations, which offer various services from pet
day care and boarding to training and grooming. Today, teamed with our Ecommerce
department, we are one of the most recognized pet supply retailers in the
nation. The Care-A-Lot® Grooming facilities, located in Newport News, VA and
Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking an exceptionally motivated and talented Groomer
to be a part of a dynamic team of groomers.
Aquatics
Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply is seeking qualified candidates for the Aquatics department in our Virginia Beach and Newport News, VA locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing & maintaining exceptional aquatics husbandry, learning about healthy aquatic, reptile, bird & small animal care habitats and sharing this knowledge with our customers. Ideal candidates will have a vast array of product knowledge for aquatics, reptile, bird and small animals. Aquatics experience is a must. Reptile, bird & small animal experience are also a plus.
Pet Daycare
Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply is currently seeking a new employee for the daycare
facility located in our Virginia Beach, VA store. The new applicant will be
responsible for monitoring a large number of dogs, performing housekeeping and
interacting with the clients.
Extensive
dogs experience is required.
Dog Training
Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply is currently seeking Dog Trainers to join our new Dog
Training Program. You must be flexible and be able to work nights and weekends.
Prior experience working with dogs is a must. Dog training experience is a plus.
Full
time and part time positions are available.
