Care-A-Lot Pet Supply is partnering with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to raise awareness for the MS Movement and to raise funds for vital MS research. Multiple Sclerosis is the number one neurological disease leading to disability in young adults today. Our Vice President, Denise Clarke, has been personally affected by this disease in a number of ways. After numerous tests, and a period of about two years, she was diagnosed with MS in the summer of 2002. Many tears and prayers later, she has turned her diagnosis into an opportunity to positively affect the lives of others living with MS on a daily basis.
Our goal is to raise awareness for the MS movement and raise money that will go towards finding a cure for those who have been diagnosed with this unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Our hope is to raise these funds in a lighthearted and fun way in the pet industry. Working with our pet supply vendors, we are launching the first of a number of products to be featured with the National MS Society brand. All profits from the sale of these products will go towards research in finding a cure.
Join us at Care-A-Lot Pet Supply as we "Join The Movement" to help end MS. As one of the leading pet supply companies in the nation, we, along with some of our vendors,
have created these special MS Flappy Dog toys and orange collars, leads and ID tags to support the Promise 2010 Campaign. The tag features a message about the organization. Remember, 100% of the profits from the sale of these items will go to the National MS Society for vital research. Care-A-Lot Pet Supply and the Clarke Family want to support the National MS Society's 2010 Campaign and help raise $30 million by 2010.
