Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) is 7 months old and was driving us nuts on walks by pulling on her leash. Trust me, we provided constant corrective measures without much success. I had heard about the Gentle Leader but was told a CKCS's nose is too small for this device. I decided to purchase it and try it anyway. The instructional DVD was great and helped us to correctly fit, apply and use the leash. Our pup resisted for about 10 minutes and then was absolutely perfect for the remainder of our long, enjoyable walk. This is a terrific device and if it doesn't work you I'd recommend you revisit the DVD to ensure you're doing what you're supposed to. As an FYI, not only do we enjoy it, my dog's tail wags excitedly while walking so it's obviously working for her as well. Great product for us!

I have a rambunctious Minature Schnauzer and walking her was becoming a nightmare, as she would be running, hopping, dragging and pulling at her leash any time she saw people, cats, squirrels and rabbits. Totally unable to redirect her attention, even with treats. I told one of the sales clerks my dilemma and she suggested the Gentle Leader Headcollar and told me she was amazed at how well it worked. I have to agree and wish I had purchased this sooner. It is like a totally different dog. At first she was fighting the feel of it around her snout, but she is getting used to it. It works immediately and she is beginning to act like a perfect lady on her walks. Thank you!
