We've been using Prozyme for all of our German Shepherd Dogs for the last 21 years. Now that we have 2 milk allergic dogs, we are using the Prozyme-Plus which is lactose-free. Eventhough milk allergy is usually to milk proteins, we feel more comfortable using the lactose-free (milk sugar) formula as long as it is available. As far as we have found, only Care-a-Lot offers this formulation.

Directions: For best results use Prozyme ® plus with every feeding for the life of your companion animal. Add 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 grams) to each cup of dry or wet food, using a dry measuring spoon. For initial use, begin by providing a small quantity and gradually increase the dosage to the appropriate amount. Dosages should be doubled for the companion animals over 8 years of age.
Store in a dry area away from extreme heat and direct sunlight. Excessive heat will destroy enzymes and moisture will prematurely activate them.
Ingredients: Rice starch, dried Aspergillus oryzae (Alpha-Amylase) fermentation product, dried Aspergillus niger (Lipase & Cellulase) fermentation product, and dried Bromelain derived from Ananas Comosus (Protease).
