Established in 1988, our family-owned and operated pet supply company began marketing its products to pet specialists including groomers, veterinarians, and pet owners nationwide. Today, we have the three largest retail pet stores in Virginia and are recognized as a national pet supply distribution corporation. We have multiple super-center retail locations, which offer various services from pet day care and boarding to training and grooming. Today, teamed with our Ecommerce department, we are one of the most recognized pet supply retailers in the nation.

Bulk Stocker
The Bulk Stocker is responsible for stocking, rotating presentation of all food, litter and any large-sized item or as assigned by supervisor. Must be 18 or older. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Customer Service
The Customer Service Clerk welcomes and serves customers by providing information; responding to requests; resolving problems; directing customers to staff who can best assist them.

Cashier
The Cashier is responsible for maintaining guest service, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards. 

Aquatic Sales Associate
The Aquatics Sales Associate is responsible for all livestock care & husbandry, customer service, department cleanliness and upkeep, product knowledge, basic water chemistry, live and dry product sales.

Bather
The Bather is responsible to properly prepare, bathe and finish pets by using humane practices and minimizing pet stress. Additionally, the Bather is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the grooming area of the store. Must be 18 or older. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Kennel Attendant
The Kennel Attendant is responsible for the supervision, control and management of daycare dogs and assuring the safety of the play group. Additionally, the Kennel Attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the playrooms and holding cages as well as other areas of the facility as assigned.

Grooming
Care-A-Lot Pet Supply is seeking qualified groomers for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We are seeking exceptionally motivated, talented, and experienced Groomers to be part of our dynamic team.   Groomers are required to have a love and respect for animals, as well as a great work ethic.  Our vision for grooming is to provide 100% guest satisfaction and provide a safe and gentle touch to their pets.

Pet Daycare
Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply is currently seeking a new employee for the daycare facility located in our Virginia Beach, VA store. The new applicant will be responsible for monitoring a large number of dogs, performing housekeeping and interacting with the clients.

Extensive dogs experience is required.
